For electricians
Estimate software for electricians
Quote the panel upgrade, the EV charger install, the troubleshooting hour — all in one estimate. Customer signs and pays a deposit on their phone before parts go on your card.
No credit card required.
What slows electricians down today
EV charger and panel upgrade quotes need clear deposits — but you don't want a clunky PDF + Venmo dance.
Customers approve verbally, then drag their feet on signing while you're holding a hold on the breaker.
Code-required upgrades discovered mid-job turn into awkward change-order conversations.
Commercial customers ghost the approval until a P.O. cycle that never seems to end.
A typical electrical estimate
Drop these line items straight into a new estimate. Adjust quantities and prices for the specific job.
| Line item | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Service call / diagnostic | Show-up fee, applied to the job if you do the work. |
| Panel upgrade — 200A service replacement | Permit, panel, meter base, labor; utility coordination included. |
| EV charger install — Level 2 hardwired | Up to 40 ft conduit run; spell out trenching exclusions. |
| Recessed lighting — per fixture installed | Quantity × per-can price; spell out drywall repair scope. |
| GFCI / AFCI receptacle replacement | Per device; line up code-required upgrades during inspection. |
| Generator interlock kit + breaker | Code-compliant manual transfer alternative to a full ATS. |
“Panel upgrades used to take a week to get approved. Now the customer signs from the kitchen table and the deposit's in before I'm back at the truck.”
Frequently asked questions
Can I attach a load calculation or one-line diagram?
Attach a PDF or image to the estimate. The customer sees it on the approval page alongside the line items and terms.
How do you handle code-required upgrades discovered mid-job?
Send a change order with the additional scope and cost. The customer approves it the same way they approved the original estimate — typed signature, audit logged. Then you can keep working.
Do you integrate with QuickBooks?
Not yet — we focus on the approval and deposit step. Most users export totals into their existing accounting tool. Direct integrations are on the roadmap.
What about commercial customers who need invoicing through accounts payable?
You can mark an estimate as approved without collecting a deposit, then invoice through your existing system. The signed approval is the contract.
Is there a contract?
Month-to-month, cancel anytime. Free plan covers 5 estimates per month forever.
